The Ba of Theba
This is a film about events that took place 3300 years ago in Theba (nowadays Luxor) in Egypt. Pharaoh Horemheb, as a spirit, relates his memories of the 18th dynasty; Pharaohs Akhenaten, Tutankhamun and Ay. Mysteries and omens connected with the excavation of the tomb of Tutankhamun and the fate of Lord Carnarvon and Howard Carter. Horemheb describes the village of Qurna, near the Valley of the Kings, and its poor residents who derived their livelihood from grave robbing.
